Great copy of the tan canvas “tropical” Y-Strap as used by the Afrikakorps, in Greece, Italy and southern Russia. These also became standard issue in 1945. Made of Cotton canvas webbing, leather and authentic hardware.Thread and leather color may vary slightly from photo.

M43 Mountain Troops EM Bergmutze Cap
Introduced in the early 1930’s, this style cap served as the basis for the later, M-43 design. However, it has a noticeably shorter visor and higher crown, giving it a very distinctive style. The Enlisted model is made of the fine quality field grey wool and features a correct, grey-green cotton lining, pebbled buttons painted to match the cap according to regulations, and a partial sweatband in thin, grey or brown leather that is typical of higher quality caps. The M36 Tunics were manufactured from 1936-40, which are identified by the dark green collar and pleated pockets.
