Cavalry Carbine Cartridge Box
An economical cavalry carbine cartridge box features an inner flap covering a tool pouch. Wooden blocks for cartridges are included. The tab on the front flap is both sewn and riveted. There are 2 belt loops on the back. The box is sewn in white thread and is made of black leather and now in Russet.

The holster is worn on the right side, with the gun butt forward: RIGHT Side, Butt Forward. Left handed models – LEFT Side, Butt Forward – are also available. Left side holsters were less common as they were not standard issue.

This Carbine Socket is made of high quality leather and is tapered per the originals. The Carbine Socket was designed to hold the barrel of a trooper’s carbine snugly while riding on his mount. This pattern of Carbine socket continued in service after the Civil War and into the Indian Wars through the early 1880’s until replaced by the Carbine Boots. Available in Black leather.
