This Saber or Sword Belt is made from high quality American leather and comes with the over the shoulder Sam Browne strap and all hangers. Snap swivels are NOT included and are available at an EXTRA CHARGE. 2 snap swivels are required.

This belt is made to fit any 2-Piece Buckle or Spoon & Wreath Buckle and NO STITCHING is required to affix the Buckle. Brass hook makes this belt adjustable for many sizes. The belt is available in Black or Russet leather.

Sword Hanger became a standard cavalry issue throughout the Civil and Indian Wars, up to 1900. Prior to the onset of the Civil War, J.E.B. Stuart did not like the design of the sword hangers used at that time so he designed and patented his own style of hanger. His device enabled the cavalryman to remove the sword, scabbard, and belt slings entirely without unhooking the scabbard from the belt and leaving the straps swinging loose from the belt rig.

The hanger is available in black or brown.

This is the Indian Wars pistol cartridge pouch for the M1873.  Nearly identical to the American Civil War Cap Box, except with US in oval embossed on the flap.  This economical cap box features an interior lining, brass finial, 2 belt loops on the back and is sewn in white thread.

The carbine was carried by the trooper suspended from the Carbine Sling worn across his body attached to the carbine by the snap swivel. This carbine sling is authentically reproduced and is correct for both Civil War and later period cavalry. It features a regulation buckle and brass end piece.
